Big Data are at the heart of a business‘ strategic choices. On their analysis and interpretation are identified needs, behaviors, and buying trends that impact every area of the business, from service and product development to marketing, supply chain, and predictive modeling.<\/p>\n

While they enable more informed decision-making, they also enter the private sphere of consumers with significant privacy implications.<\/p>\n

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation that fits into this dynamic to give greater control and freedom of action to users, requiring protection and transparency from companies.<\/p>\n

So how do we make the use of Big Data coexist with the principles of GDPR?
