Milano, 24th March 2020 – LEXIA Avvocati, with its founding partner Francesco Dagnino, was involved, together with AIFIn, Italian Financial Innovation Association, in the consultation promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance concerning the adoption of a regulation on experimentation (so-called Sandbox) in the Fintech sector.

Francesco Dagnino, one of the most influential voices on Fintech law in Italy, commented: “Having the opportunity to contribute to this consultation together with AIFIn was an honor and an important occasion of debate“. “We hope that the adoption of the Sandbox Regulation for the Fintech sector, in defining the conditions and procedures for conducting trials, will help to introduce a competitive discipline in Italy in the context of the EU and international rules market, promoting the development of the Fintech sector and its ecosystem, as well as the distribution of Fintech products and services, the establishment of new operators in the Fintech sector, the competitiveness of existing operators and collaboration between new and existing operators“.
