Palermo, 6th<\/sup> may 2021 \u2013\u00a0<\/em>As held by the Tax Court of Caltanissetta (Commissione tributaria provincial di <\/em>Caltanissetta), Eni Mediterranea Idrocarburi Spa must pay the IMU and Tasi for the three oil platforms off the coast of Gela: \u201cGela Mare\u201d, \u201cGela Perla\u201d and \u201cPrezioso\u201d. The company will have to pay 12 million euros to the city, an amount including taxes for the three-year period from 2016 to 2018, interest and penalties.<\/p>\n

The Court rejected the appeal presented by the oil company and pronounced in favor of the City of Gela, defended by tax lawyer Alessandro Dagnino, managin partner of LEXIA Avvocati, and lawyer Giancarlo Costa, associate of the law firm.<\/p>\n
