Milan, 31 May 2021 – Bitpanda, a leading Austrian platform for the trading of cryptocurrencies, precious metals and fractional shares, appointed Lexia Avvocati for legal help with relation to the launch of its business\u00a0in Italy. The fintech recently had a Series B investment round which landed the company a unicorn status, at a $1.2B valuation. The platform has more than 2 million users in Europe, and big\u00a0plans for Italy, aiming to reach \u00a0a three figure number for new Italian customers in its first year.
\nBitpanda was assisted by Francesco Dagnino, Managing Partner of Lexia Milano, Angelo Messore, Head of the firm\u2019s Financial Services practice, and the associates Filippo Belfatto and Carlo\u00a0Giuliano.\u00a0The Firm assisted Bitpanda in the launch of their new product Bitpanda Stocks that allows users to invest into over 50 derivative stocks and ETF assets, through Bitpanda Financial\u00a0Services GmbH, a firm licensed in Austria under the MiFID 2, as well as in the offer of crypto assets and in the opening of the Italian representative office.<\/p>\n
