On La Repubblica<\/a>, a lengthy interview with Pietro Derossi<\/a>, our Counsel and head of the Immigration Law department, who provided an overview of the decree dedicated to the so-called “digital nomads,” explaining who they are and how they can apply for a visa to live in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Pietro Derossi<\/a>, this new visa aims in the long term to “promote long-term tourism, stimulate the local consumption economy, encourage the development of new economic activities based on high-level foreign skills, and finally, encourage the settlement in Italy of new taxpayers who can increase tax revenue without, on the other hand, occupying jobs generated in Italy.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
