In today’s edition of Il Sole 24 Ore, an article by Aurora Agostini discusses electronic signatures and their probative effectiveness and legal value.

In the context of professional digitalization, electronic signatures emerge as a crucial tool. The Italian Digital Administration Code distinguishes four types of electronic signatures: simple, advanced, qualified, and digital, each with varying levels of security and legal value.

It is therefore essential that the holder is the only one using the signature device and verifies the validity of the certificates, as required by Article 32 of the Digital Administration Code (Cad).
