Overview

Giovanni Lombardi is a lawyer, member of the Data & Technology Innovation team in the Milan office. He focuses on commercial and consumer contracts, with particular expertise in the technology and IT sectors, including artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, providing strategic guidance to navigate the legal challenges of digital transformation. He also advises on data protection, privacy and intellectual property matters, including the drafting and implementation of related documentation.

Giovanni graduated cum laude from the University of Milan. His academic background is highly international, having participated in the Erasmus Programme at the University of Helsinki and completed a research period at Radboud University in the Netherlands , where he developed a deep expertise in blockchain technology, with a particular focus on smart contracts and their regulatory perspectives within an international context. Before joining LEXIA, he gained significant experience at a leading boutique law firm in Milan, where he focused on corporate law, M&A, data protection and privacy.

Legal advisory to Villanova.AI S.p.A. on AI regulatory compliance, data protection governance, and privacy matters, including assistance in connection with a European Union-funded research and innovation project.

Legal advisory to 247 Growth S.r.l. in connection with the “AISA” project, covering AI regulatory compliance, data governance, and intellectual property matters.

Advisory to Gruppo Expert.AI, encompassing the design and implementation of a GDPR compliance framework across a multi-entity corporate group with cross-border data transfer aspects.

Legal advisory to GymBeam Italy S.r.l. on digital marketing and advertising compliance, including the review of promotional materials and alignment with consumer protection requirements.
