Italy was the first European country to adopt legislation specifically dedicated to the Space Economy, marking a significant step towards the establishment of a clearer and more structured legal framework for businesses and investors.

The interview also explored the impact of space-based activities on everyday life and the principal challenges the sector will face in the coming years, including space traffic management, operational safety and the sustainability of activities in outer space.
