During the interview, Silvia outlined the approach adopted by LEXIA in response to the changes affecting dispute resolution. The role of the litigator is no longer confined to the contentious phase of a relationship but increasingly extends to the prevention and early management of potential risks.
“In the past, litigators were involved only once a dispute had arisen. Today, however, there is a different level of awareness. Their involvement begins at the negotiation stage, with a view to preventing and mitigating litigation risk.
