Mariateresa joined LEXIA as Counsel, bringing with her solid experience in corporate and financial markets law. Her practice focuses on equity capital markets transactions and financial services regulation.
She has regularly assisted in extraordinary capital markets transactions (IPOs, public tender offers, capital increases, buy-back programs, and corporate finance operations).
She also advises listed companies and their corporate bodies — Boards of Directors, internal committees, and supervisory bodies — on corporate governance, market abuse, internal dealing, related party transactions, and remuneration policies. Additionally, she supports shareholders in negotiating, drafting, and publishing shareholders’ agreements.
Mariateresa has been registered with the Milan Bar Association since 2017 and holds a degree in law from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Before joining LEXIA, she worked at leading Italian and international law firms, gaining significant experience assisting listed companies and financial institutions in major capital markets transactions.
