Overview

Pietro Derossi is the Head of the Global Mobility & Corporate Immigration Team at LEXIA, with comprehensive expertise in Immigration Law, Italian Citizenship, and International Protection.

He provides full legal support to both companies and individuals in obtaining all types of visas and residence permits, including those for highly skilled employment, intra-company transfers (ICT), investment (Investor Visa for Italy), elective residency, innovative start-ups, digital nomads, freelance work, and family reunification.

Pietro has a distinguished track record in Italian citizenship applications, handling both administrative and judicial proceedings. And he regularly represents Italian and foreign nationals in civil and administrative litigation against public immigration authorities, defending and promoting rights related to citizenship, family unity, and residency.

Beyond his legal practice, Pietro collaborates with the University of Milan by publishing research articles on Italian and European immigration law, contributing to academic discourse on European immigration policies and migration management.

Prior to joining LEXIA, he led a team of international protection experts in Greece and Cyprus for the European Union Agency for Asylum.

Pietro graduated with distinction and an honorable mention from the University of Turin Law School in 2016. In 2026, he received the Lexology Client Choice Award in the Italian Immigration Lawyer category.
