Prof. Avv. Alessandro Dagnino

Alessandro Dagnino, an Italian Supreme Court lawyer and professor of tax law at the University of L’Aquila, is one of the Firm’s founding partners.

One of the leading practitioners in the field of tax litigation, he represents and advices Italian companies, multi-national groups, financial institutions and private clients.

He has been listed as one of the “Lawyers of the Year”, for the categories “Tax Advisory” and “Supreme Court Litigation”, at the 2018 and 2019 Italian Top Legal Awards and has been counted amongst the 100 most influential Sicilian personalities,  according to annual surveys of “I Love Sicilia” magazine.

He authored several academic publications, including articles and books, in the field of taxation and is a regular speaker in seminars and conferences on tax matters.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Liquidators of one of the major Italian tax collecting company, owned by top tier Italian banks and by “Agenzia delle entrate”, the National Tax Agency.

He is in charge as the Coordinator of Scientific Committee of Confcommercio Professioni (the professional chapter of the largest Italian entrepreneurial association) and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Tax Justice Observatory.

He is an active member of Aspen Institute Italia.

He serves as the Regional Secretary for Sicily of the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy and the Vice-President of ANTI Sicilia, the regional chapter of the Italian National Tax Association.

He has been the Chairman of IRFIS Fin-Sicilia s.p.a., regional development financing company owned by Sicilian Government, and a member of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo and Enna.
