Pietro De Corato is an administrative lawyer with expertise in administrative litigation, particularly in public procurement, public accounting, concessions, public competitions, pharmaceutical regulation, antitrust, and public employment. He advises both private clients (including banks and companies in the transport, telecommunications, energy, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and vending sectors) and public entities (such as the Italian Revenue Agency and publicly owned or affiliated companies).
He graduated in Law from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a thesis in Constitutional Law entitled “Constitutional Aspects of Preliminary References from the Constitutional Court to the Court of Justice of the European Union”, which was awarded the “Tullio De Mauro” Graduation Prize in 2017 (announced by Lazio DiSCo and Fondazione Roma Sapienza). He is qualified to practice law.
He has also carried out academic activities within the PhD program in Public, Comparative and International Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” – Department of Political Science.
