Business Crisis, Insolvency Procedures and Distressed M&A
Due to the experience of the professionals of the team, the Firm is able to assist its clients in out-Court and in-Court proceedings.
In particular, the team is specialized and experienced in four specific areas:
- Restructuring and Insolvency, with a focus on debt restructuring agreements, recovery plans, compositions of debts with creditors and extraordinary administrations.
- Distressed M&A and turnaround transactions, assisting funds and financial creditors dealing with turnaround and special situations investments, including financings to distressed target companies.
- Purchase and assignment of UTP/ NPL receivables, both portfolios and single name exposures.
- Bankruptcy litigation, assisting the clients in all the the litigations in context of insolvency proceedings or in general in Court proceedings related to companies in crisis.

Multidisciplinary approach
The team is fully integrated with all the practices of the Firm and, due to the multidisciplinary approach, is able to assist the clients in all the situations of crisis, with specific singergies with the practice specialized in business crisis and tax debt management, in order to assist the client also with regard to the settlements with the tax authority and the social security institute.
