Partner of LEXIA since 2021, Angelo regularly assists financial and foreign institutions on issues related to banking, financial, insurance, investment and payment services regulation. He has gained significant experience in the analysis and launch of projects in the Fintech field, having contributed to the creation of various innovative platforms.
Angelo regularly provides assistance in the setting up and marketing of alternative investment funds, in particular with regard to private debt, direct lending and non-performing credit funds. Over the years he has also worked on numerous extraordinary operations (acquisitions, mergers, corporate reorganisations, sales of companies, credit or insurance portfolios) and issues on the capital market, with a particular focus on operations relating to financial institutions and operating companies in the Fintech sector.
Prior to becoming a partner at LEXIA, Angelo worked in leading international firms in Milan and Rome, as well as Visiting Attorney (Gastanwalt) at the Frankfurt office of the Gleiss Lutz firm in 2014-2015. Angelo also gained experience as an intern at the Bank of Italy under the “Donato Menichella” program, where he worked on the transposition of the AIFMD Directive, and at the Supervisory Law Division of the European Central Bank, responsible, among other things, for legal issues related to the operation of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM).
