Silvia Cossu is Partner at LEXIA and leads the Litigation, Arbitration and Legal Risk Mitigation practice. She specializes in dispute resolution and risk mitigation, particularly in cases with cross-border elements, where she gained a nation-wide reputation.
Her expertise also extends to representing foreign governmental bodies and public authorities in complex and often multi-jurisdictional litigations. Silvia is recognized for her critical approach to contractual issues, aimed at preventing and mitigating legal risks arising from relevant operations.

During her academic and professional career, she participated in the Program on Negotiation for Executives at Harvard Law School (2018), attended the Academy of American and International Law, run by the Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law (SWIICL) in the Dallas/Plano area (2010) and conducted studies in France, Spain, and the United States, developing a strong international acumen and approach.
Before joining LEXIA, Silvia began her professional career in the Diplomatic and Treaties Litigation Dept. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, subsequently practiced in one of the magic circle firms and in one of the biggest independent business Italian law firms.
