Milan, 20 July 2023 – Lexia advised GUM Group S.p.A., an investment company controlled by Dario Pardi, in the investment agreement with expert.ai, a leading company in the field of artificial intelligence for natural language understanding, and its major shareholders, which have been advised by Chiomenti.

The transaction was performed through a capital increase reserved to GUM Group, which acquired a 7.24% stake in the company’s share capital. In the same context, some changes to the company’s governance were approved, and Dario Pardi was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

Lexia acted as legal advisor of  GUM Group with a team led by Managing Partner Francesco Dagnino, Counsel Andrea Maroni and Associate Stefano Corrà.

expert.ai and its major shareholders were assisted by Chiomenti with a team led by Partner Italo De Santis and composed of Senior Associate Matteo Costantino along with Associates Sara D’Itri and Elisa Tedeschi.
