Milan, 17 January 2023 – Lexia Avvocati announces the introduction of the Counsel role and the appointment of six professionals – formerly Senior Associates of the firm – in this position: Pinella Altiero, Aurora Agostini, Fabio Luongo, Andrea Maroni, Michele Mennoia and Elmira Shahbazi.
By introducing the Counsel role, the Firm aims at recognizing professionals who cooperated at the management and development of certain practice areas of the firm, while at the same time acknowledging the path of growth they have carried out in the last years.
Aurora Agostini, lawyer, is responsible for Lexia’s Data & Technology Innovation practice. She assists clients in all areas of ICT, intellectual property, and new technology law, with extensive expertise in data protection and privacy aspects.
Pinella Altiero, lawyer, is responsible for Lexia’s Administrative Law practice. Pinella is an administrative lawyer with significant experience in both the renewable and traditional energy and public procurement field and assists Italian and foreign companies.
Fabio Luongo, lawyer, boasts a significant experience in both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions for major listed and unlisted companies and in Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions, as well as solid skills acquired in leading international law firms in New York, Rome and Milan.
Andrea Maroni, lawyer, has gained significant experience in Capital Markets, Public M&A and Venture Capital areas, assisting Italian and foreign listed and unlisted companies.
Michele Mennoia, lawyer, is responsible for Lexia’s Commercial and Corporate Litigation practice, regularly assisting Italian and foreign clients in commercial and corporate litigation before the Judicial Authority, as well as in arbitration and Adr proceedings (alternative dispute resolution).
Elmira Shahbazi, lawyer, is responsible for Lexia’s Foreign Direct Investment & Corporate Service practice, as well as overseeing the firm’s Iranian desk. Elmira regularly supports Italian (outbound) and foreign (outbound) clients in connection with international expansion projects, with also a focus on the establishment and launch of start-ups.
The new appointments are the result of a great achievement for the firm: the significant growth of our professionals and their valorization is simultaneous with the development of Lexia, which has always invested in training its experts for a career-path to be stimulating not only on a strictly professional basis but also on a human and personal one.
