Elmira is responsible for Lexia’s Foreign Direct Investment & Corporate Services department. She joined Lexia in 2019 and has held the role of Counsel since 2023.
Elmira supports Italian and foreign clients in relation to international expansion projects, with a focus on the establishment and launch of start-ups. Over the years, she has gained expertise in trademark protection and export control of dual-use items. She also assists Italian and foreign clients in setting up family and purpose trusts.
In 2020 she was selected among emerging professionals for promoting and organizing, in Italy, a diplomatic meeting with the participation of the current Iranian Ambassador aimed at strengthening and increasing economic exchanges between Iran and the city of Florence. In 2022, she was selected by M&A Awards as Lawyer of the Year 2022 for Start-Ups & Venture Capital.
Elmira is registered with the Milan Bar Association and with International Arbitration Chamber as Arbitrator. She graduated in Law from the University of Florence, with a thesis in International Comparative Law. She has obtained the recognition of her Law degree and title in Iran. Subsequently, she attended a Master’s degree in Tax Law at IPSOA Wolters Kluwer Group.
Before starting her collaboration with LEXIA Avvocati, she had developed her professional career in Italy and abroad, in leading national and international firms.
In addition to Italian, Elmira is fluent in Farsi, English and has a basic understanding of Arabic.
