Paolo Di Fresco, head of the White Collar Crime at LEXIA, has achieved a significant victory in the corruption and tender rigging trial related to the maintenance and innovation works of the Milan Metro Line M2.

The Seventh Criminal Section of the Court of Milan acquitted Moreno Mazzola, an executive of Siemens, along with other top company officials, acknowledging their complete innocence in the charges brought against them.

The case involved allegations against Siemens Mobility S.r.l. and Siemens GmbH executives, accusing them of having unlawfully influenced the tender process for the signaling systems.
